Contributing to the Friends of Raveh Ravid Fund
Within the desire to contribute to the Israeli society and to foster a new generation of young educated leaders from the periphery, The Friends of Raveh Ravid Fund, was founded upon a basic principle for its activity. According to this principle:
All the contributions are dedicated directly to financing the students' tuition. This is done by transferring the scholarship directly to the students' tuition account at the University of Haifa.
Raveh Ravid & Co. and the University of Haifa cover all the expenses related to the Fund's management and activities.
Therefore, every contribution made to the Fund means direct support of an outstanding student from the periphery.
The fund is encouraging personal contact between the students and the contributors. The Fund's contributors and friends are invited to joint events with the students and meet them in person. In addition, the Fund's friends receive a periodical update regarding the Fund's activity, including the student's academic progress.
The Fund believes in the vast experience of its friends and contributors, and invites them to make a personal contact with a student, in order to serve as mentors, advising in career and academic questions and in central junctions in the lives of these promising students. The donors can even adopt a student and support him or her personally.
